The Seaborne Archive

The Seaborne collection was deposited in the Northamptonshire Record Office in 1961.

Malcolm Seaborne was a history teacher and local historian who led a local conservation campaign in the early 1960s to document Corby buildings about to be demolished. Many of the records he collected were photographs, from his 1960s campaign and earlier.

The Our Corby project has digitised these and made them accessible through the website. Until now, the collection has never been properly sorted and listed. This website is one way of collecting the history that these amazing images illustrate.
