What a great pub this was I started drinking here a couple years after this but the same crowd. Brings back some good memories especially with the ones who are no longer with us, and there is quite a few.
Frankie you look well young haha.
I'm born and raised in Corby but I can't place a pub called "The Golden Cockerel"can somebody tell me where it was/ is please?
Thanks
Jason, it was on the Lincoln Estate - in Lincoln Way, I think. I was living in Northbrooke in the 70s and it was my local pub - but difficult to find through all those alleyways, and even more difficult to find your way back home!
Also used to like the Maple Leaf in Canada Square - knocked down now...
